The Health and Life Skills Education is a compulsory subject which aims to provide accurate, comprehensive and up to date information on health and contemporary issues through;

The course aims to:

  • promote awareness of children’s rights and welfare as enshrined in the Universal declaration of Human Rights of 1948 and Banjul charter.
  • foster responsible sexual behaviour for personal and professional growth.
  • develop positive attitudes towards the infected and the affected.
